Temptation ... wait what!?!?

James 1:13-14

I've heard people ask, "Why is God tempting me?" or "Why is God allowing me to be tempted?"

Well, here's the truth.  God cannot be tempted by evil nor does He tempt anyone.  God doesn't tempt us or even put us in a position to be tempted.  That, my friend, we do all on our own, in our own doing.  So if you are being tempted ... what doors are you opening?  What are you watching?  What are you listening too?  What are you reading?  Who are you hanging with?  Who are you letting influence you?

If you're not happy where you are ... the sweet blessing is that YOU are in control of where you are, what your focus is on, what direction you are heading.  God gave us freedom of will and is eagerly waiting for us to turn or step towards Him.  At any point, no matter how dark of a place or deep in temptation you have allowed yourself to go, He has given us the option to turn back to Him.  Take the step of faith ... He provides what you need to succeed in fulfilling your created purpose.  It's a new year, a new season ... a great time to step to a new level or at least redirect your path ... it starts with a step of faith.  Blessings on your 2017 Faith Walking Program ... until FitBit or that type of device can track your steps, get a journal and start tracking your Faith Steps.  You'll be thrilled with the results.

Success to faith stepping out and stepping up in 2017!

Psalm 134 Praising the Lord

Father God, Thank you for this time in your Word.  I pray for my eyes to see, my ears to hear, heart to be open to receive and the grace to do what you reveal to me today.  May you be glorified in and through my life.  In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen.

Psalm 134  New King James Version (NKJV)

Praising the Lord in His House at Night

A Song of Ascents.

134 Behold, bless the Lord,
All you servants of the Lord,
Who by night stand in the house of the Lord!
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary,
And bless the Lord.
The Lord who made heaven and earth
Bless you from Zion!

Wow, as I ask the Lord for my eyes, mind, ears and heart to be open to receive what He has for me today I am yet again overwhelmed what He has in what appears to be a short, simple psalm.  A Psalm or chapter that only has three verses recorded in The Word that is easily overlooked if you are just reading to read to check it off your list that its done.  Meditating on the Word is far more enlightening and fruitful then reading the Word.

“Behold” what a word.  It has a Ta Da fanfare to it or a drum roll type presentation. It stirs my spirit and puts it on alert.  The word is defined as “see or observe a thing or person, especially a remarkable or impressive one.  Synonyms are view, look at, watch, survey, witness, gaze at/upon, regard, contemplate, inspect.

The word “Behold” calls me to accountability.  Am I truly observing the Lord? Am I gazing upon Him and seeing all that He does for me? Or am I too busy with the menial things in life, allowing them to fill up my day as I focus on them and let them shape and mold my emotions and mood towards myself, my family, my friends, the people I encounter while out and about.  I do know that when I’m “Beholding the Lord” and gazing upon Him, knowing Him, praising Him that the focus and effects of others on the earth do not impact my life as deeply nor have the roller coaster effect on my emotions.  I also know that I have my best results in getting the important things accomplished during my day and the lesser things either go away or often resolve themselves with little effort on my part.  Why then do I choose to put the “busyness” of the world before and above my “Behold” time of the LORD?  Talk about a face palm insight moment.

I’ve read the Psalm through several times before I even started to journal my insights.  There is so much here however today I am lead to meditate on the “Behold”.

Behold, observe, as you bless the Lord.  Behold and observe day and night … good challenges and bad challenges.  Observe the Lord in all situations that you allow yourself into with your choices and things put in to motion with your spoken authority.  God loves us so much that He allows us to make our own choices.  He loves us so much that He allows us to choose whether to give Him honor or not … and He delights in the praise and honor we give Him.  He who can speak anything into being, who does not need us to do anything for Him, truly delights in our adoration and praise of Him.  Try to comprehend that!  Being a parent is such an eye opener to the heart of God.  As parents, we love our children from the moment they are being created inside of us.  It is such a pleasure to watch a loving couple who are expecting their first child.   How the husband/dad hovers over, anticipates the needs and is delighted to get to do whatever for the wife/mom to meet her needs and desires.  How like our Heavenly Father who watches over us, guides us (even when we are in the “2-year-old Do It Myself phase”; whether we are willing to receive or not and loves us whether we decide to listen and do or not!), anticipates our needs and provides even the smallest thing for us when we allow and are willing to receive.

We GET to bless God as we stand watch by night, in the darkest hours, the darkest challenges.  It is a choice.  We can always find Him in every situation.  God did not create sin.  Adam and Eve’s love gift of free will, chose to listen to the deception of Satan and allow his words and implications to outweigh God’s words.  God who has always spoken truth to and over them, providing their everything.  Even then God’s love for us was so great that He had to honor His word and cast them out of the Garden of Eden for their disobedience.  BUT GOD cast them into a void that He created and gave them everything they needed to have life, to succeed, to fulfill their purpose of life.  He still hovered, watching, anticipating, giving what they would accept when they were willing to receive out of an unconditional love.

God shows His unconditional love for us repeatedly throughout The Word.  Even when the Earth became so corrupt that only one man and his family believed, sought God, heard Him and worshiped Him, He saved that one man (Noah) by giving Him promptings and insight to build a boat to prepare for what had never existed before on this Earth.  Are we courageous as Noah? Are we willing to act and stand against the ridicule of doing something beyond the norm? Even before that … are we truly seeking and spending time with God?  Do we even stand still long enough to converse and be open to receive from God an idea to build/create/do something that has never been done before?

Oh, the proof of accountability and submission!  Because Noah sought after knowing God and knowing His heart thus knowing and being aligned with His will and willing to receive direction no matter how unknown the concept.  Because Noah covered his family, raised them according to the knowledge of God’s ways that were imparted to him through prayer and meditation with God as the Bible didn’t exist yet.  Because Noah sought after and “BEHOLDED” God, his family was saved when all the rest of the people of the earth that had become so corrupted that there was no goodness and were destroyed in the first rainfall and flood on earth.  You think that you are just one person and can’t make much of an impact?  Rebuke that lie right now because Noah is just one proof of what one man can do because of God’s love for us and willingness to give us the delights of our hearts in the blessing of obedience.  You do matter and impact the lives of those around you. How you walk out challenges brought on by your own choices and sometimes brought on by the choices of others … is a witness to others of our great, loving, Heavenly Father who guarantees us victory in ALL challenges.

It is written in John 10:10 that satan, our enemy, comes to kill, steal and destroy.  It is also written that Jesus came to give us life and to not only give us life but to give us life ABUNDANTLY!  If it has to do with killing, stealing, destroying then give credit to the correct initiator – satan, and give PRAISE to Jesus who gives us victory in ALL things and will give us the strength to stand and endure to receive the morning joy (Psalm 30:5) and the restoration of what has been taken/stolen from us.  (Deuteronomy 30:3-13).  He gives us a life of abundance! Are we receiving it and walking in it?

I can honestly say, from walking through some dark challenges beyond the normal, that God really is there guiding and giving strength to endure, to receive the blessing of His morning joy.  It is possible to see and hold on to Him during the darkness, praising Him when satan is doing everything he can to have all flesh and world things keep you from praising your Creator and Unconditional Lover of your soul.

Wow!  Thanks for such sweet reminders Lord.  With the weights of worldly demands and expectations dragging me down at times, I so needed this accountability check as to where my focus is and where my spoken praise is.  It’s a mindset or perspective choice with every thought and circumstance.

My affirmation today:  I choose to seek Him.  I choose to follow His leading.  I choose to give praise to the Lord.  I choose to focus on His good report only.  I choose to rebuke and step on the head of satan who can only bruise my heel instead of running screaming in fear.  (Genesis 3:15)  I feel God’s leading.  I feel like praising the Lord. I feel like focusing on His good report. I feel like rebuking satan in my life.  I AM choosing Him.  I AM following His leading.  I AM giving praise to my Lord.  I AM focusing on His good report.  I AM rebuking the devourer.

To you, Father God, I give the praise and glory of all good things in my life and my ability to overcome and praise in and through all things.  Thank you. Thank You.  Thank you.

Psalm 133 – Living Together in Peace

Psalm 133

This chapter only has 3 verses … but oh the things that are covered and imparted in these verses.  People have a saying about big things or explosive things coming in little packages.  I’m thinking this originated from God as its constantly shown in the Bible.  To not get off track I’ll leave this as something for us to ponder ...

Psalm 133 in my Bible has been given the title “Living Together In Peace”.

Verse 1 in NKJV “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

We are all a part of the whole body.  Such peace comes from living in unity.  It is our responsibility to tend to our lives, actions, intent, etc.  We can only pray for others as lead by the Holy Spirit.  We can only bring change in our own lives.  Thus, understanding that, it is our responsibility to make sure that we are operating from a heart of love.  That we are listening and hearing what God is leading us to do.  That we have thoughts aligned with Christ coming forth through our spoken authority.  When we do our part, God will be able to fulfill the blessings of His part.  He always does what He says.  It is our choices, actions and spoken authority that keeps Him waiting to do what He has already said He will do for us.  When we are listening to hear and doing as He leads, our part of unity is in place and we are in a place of peace that effects the atmosphere and people around us.

Verse 2 in NKJV “It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.”

On April 28, 2009 - the eve of our 14th anniversary of God uniting our family into being and the day of my mom, my spiritual mentor, my friend and beyond’s 74th birthday - God officially released the oil portion of our My Father’s Blessing Ministries.  Talk about God igniting the passion of my heart and fanning the flames beyond anything on this earth.  I have been and am blessed with the sweetest times with God; the mind-expanding insights and downloads; the health building & healing in my heart (emotions), mind, body, and spirit; as well as observing what He does in other’s lives through the willingness of my heart and my hands and His scriptures and oils.  I could go on and on about the insight and meanings I’ve learned from searching His Word.  However, now is the time to focus on Psalm 133.  I encourage you to dive in and study or at least get your toes wet by looking at the accounts of anointing in the Bible.  It is more than just the putting a spot on the forehead or crown of the head as is often done in today’s times.  The oil anointing is symbolic of the spiritual anointing covering you.  It starts at your head and flows in abundance over your whole entire being all the way down to the edge of your garments - tips of your toes, ground that you walk on.  Not only is this symbolic but it is God’s way of fortifying and feeding every part of your being - your emotions, mental, physical and spiritual portion of your life.  He gives us all the tools we need to be able to fulfill His created purpose in our lives if we so choose to accept and walk out that purpose.  If we choose to be submissive and stand still to receive and allow His anointing to flow over and cover us, then we are walking in the covering of His anointing which is walking in unity and peace.

Verse 3 in NKJV “It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing – Life forevermore.

Hermon is the loftiest peak in all the land of Palestine, and from its snowy cap, when all the surrounding country is parched, the refreshing dew descends upon the mountains of Zion.  This was driven home to me even more yesterday, January 1, 2017, the beginning of this New Year and New Season.  This time of being in the mountains is giving such insight through the most unique ways.   I’m thoroughly enjoying it.  I have anticipation as I look for His signs and thoughts that He has positioned around me.  Driving home from church yesterday the clouds had descended in such a delicate and beautiful dance.  The fog that is often present on our morning journeys stirs my spirit and brings such joy and delight from a special place deep within me.  It is like the Holy Spirit coming into your valley, wrapping you totally in His care and blocking all view/focus except for the necessity of your immediate surrounding.  His way of saying, I’ve got this, I’ve got you, rest, focus on me, abide in me.  My thoughts began to ponder the difference of the fog that generally is settled in the valleys and the clouds that were descending from above, lingering and flowing through different areas and covering all that was with a sweet dampness that was welcoming not uncomfortable.  With the clouds, the valleys were visually clear to see while still receiving the refreshing nourishment of the sweet dampness.  This was a special covering that we are continually under in some aspect of the atmosphere; however yesterday, He allowed the clouds to descend to bring the blessing of their sweet dew and the insight of His covering that is always there for us especially in the mountain highs and good times.  To bring me insight.  We don’t always see the “dew” coming down to cover us; however, it is there.  Sometimes it cloaks us in our times of trial and need in the form a “fog”.  Always, it is there high above covering and sourcing us to keep us from being parched.

It is our choice to:

Receive and joyfully be covered by the anointing oil and dew which supplies a peace and unity deep within through all challenges - Life forevermore.

OR

Reject, cover up in hiding and not receive nor allow the anointing oil and dew to touch us and supply to prevent becoming parched.

Each moment of our day is new and ours to choose.  So … what are you choosing for your life, today, this moment?  I am whole heartedly, with all abandon, choosing the anointing oil and dew and looking for it with anticipation as it is manifested in my life.

May you hear and receive what is yours to hear from the sharing of a portion of my insights.
Be blessed in the Name of the Lord.

Prayer for Refreshing the Weary Ones accented with anointing oil Oola Grow

Today we are diffusing and anointing ourselves and My Father's Blessing ministry partners with Young Living Oola Grow essential oil while we pray the following over ourselves and all those on our Gatekeepers' Leaders Prayer Support List.

You can get your oil at http://1111order.com.  Your order sows into the ministry God has asked us to pick up the yoke of in ministering and supporting His leaders and their families in His Love, His Way.  This is an amazing oil to use in foot washing and anointing sessions.

Be blessed.  Be renewed.  The full blessing comes in obedience to Him.  Shalom.

Refreshment Prayer For Weary Ones

Many Christians are exhausted from running the rat race, even the Christian rat race. Many are weighed down by family demands and tensions. They need strengthening and refreshment to receive God's enabling grace for each day. Pray this for yourself or others who need a fresh touch of the power of the Holy Spirit. You are blessed to be a blessing, and prayer is one of the most powerful ways you can bless others.

Pray this way:

Abba, I come alongside _______ and lift them into Your presence. Thank You for Your love for them. You have given Your word that You have set apart Your godly ones for Yourself. I claim that for _______ today. Give them a fresh touch of Your love in all its fullness. Meet all their needs today, because those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.

Please give _______wisdom and understanding, so that they will take only Your yoke and make only the plans that agree with Your divine purposes. Grant them Your favor and blessing. Increase their confidence in Your ability and presence at work in their lives to evict all fear and doubt.

Father, ________ is tired and needs Your divine strength, because they are running at the edge of their endurance. Heal and strengthen them body, soul, and spirit. Foil Satan's plans to attack in physical and emotional areas that are vulnerable. Let their roots tap deeply into You and enable them to keep on keeping on in the demands on them. Lighten their steps; let them mount up with wings as an eagle, as they wait on You. Reveal any sin that is hindering them, and speak to their heart, as You draw them closer to You. Give them grace for today, and then tomorrow give a whole new supply of Your provision of Yourself. Give them Your sweet presence each moment, and let them feel secure in You. When they don't know the outcome of their situation, show them that in You it is safe not to know, because You are good.

Father, overcome _______'s fears with Your perfect love. Heal ________ where there is pain and hurt. Give them a breakthrough in the situations closest to their hearts, the ones that have wearied them most. Touch and restore the places that have been bruised and shut down. Open them up to new trust in You. Press through walls of disappointment, self-protection, separation, and pain. Minister reconciliation, so that all relationships might enjoy Your unity and sweet fellowship. Release Your fresh touch into each life that has claim upon their spiritual, emotional, and practical responsibility.

We come to Your cross and hide there from all stresses and pressures. Your glory outshines all the plans of the enemy to oppress _______. Mighty Warrior, reveal the real battle that they are up against. Let them rest in You, and stand steadfast, and see that the battle is the Lord's. Let no fiery arrows pierce their safe place in Your refuge. Give them confidence that no weapon formed against them will prosper.

Place _______ in the refreshing stream of Living Water flowing from Your throne. Refresh them each moment in Jesus. Make them oaks of righteousness planted by streams of water, whose leaves do not wither. Bless them according to Your perfect will, as You watch over their way. Show them Your power and the glory of Your great love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

161116 Personal Word for another

I am honored to be asked to present you with the gifts of Clove essential oil, Orange essential oil and Sacred Frankincense essential oil to help feed the temple of the Holy Spirit, your body (mind, body, emotions, and spirit).

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NKJV)

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Clove essential oil:

The past of lashing out is behind you and broken off you.  Holy Spirit is expanding you and growing you in your discretionHis truth comes through you.  Your words, your daily actions, even your secret place actions … your entire life walk … speaks His truth in and through your life to those that will see nor receive any other way; as well as impacts those that are open, willing to receive.

2 Corinthians 11:3 (AMP)
But I am afraid that, even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, your minds may be corrupted and led away from the simplicity of [your sincere and] pure devotion to Christ.

This is a verse that was impressed upon my heart for you and your Spirit led passion for self and others.  I feel there is more in this chapter however that is a special place for you and God to walk.

Orange essential oil:

Ridicule is no longer able to impact you.  God is applauding you.  Walk boldly, head held high in honor because of the choices and stances you have made and continue to make with every breath you take.

     1 Samuel 2:35-36
35 Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart        and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed                        forever. 36 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow          down to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and say, “Please, put me in one of the            priestly positions, that I may eat a piece of bread.”’”

Sacred Frankincense essential oil:

You are directed and are fully taking back 100% of your movement as you are solely Holy Spirit led.

Isaiah 30:21 New King James Version (NKJV)
21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
“This is the way, walk in it,”
Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left.

The World and those who love you (but have their own expectations of and for you) that are not in alignment with God’s direction for you, they are choosing to place themselves outside of your life and it is their choice not yours.  Follow God and Joshua’s example by continuing to love them and letting them go.

Joshua 24:15 (AMP)
If it is unacceptable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River; or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Your choice is to follow the Lord and you do it boldly with warrior confidence.  The blessings of your obedience will fill to overflowing any empty places in your life that are created by those who chose other.

KNOW who HE SAYS you are.  Know and understand that you have His approval. See yourself as He sees you in how much He loves and values you

Proverbs 31:10 (AMP)
An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her?
Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls.

You are a true Proverbs 31 woman (not a cliché) who grows and expands with every breath and thought.  You seek and have His approval.  You know His value in you and your value in Him.  You are continually reaching new levels because you choose to allow Him to take you to higher, deeper, wider and beyond levels.

I speak Psalms 1 over you that you may be detached and submitted to God to stand in your power under His authority because you know that:

Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] are you, , who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example],
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of [b]scoffers (ridiculers).

, YOUR delight is in the law of the Lord,
And on His law [His precepts and teachings] you, , [habitually] meditate day and night.

And you, , will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by [never ending, abundant, living] streams of water,
You, , yield your fruit in its season;
Your leaf does not wither;
And in whatever you do, , you prosper [and come to maturity].

To God be the glory.  So Be It!

Life lesson Ponder point of frozen water lines

Life Lesson / Ponder point:

So as many are aware, our water froze up Sunday while we were gone to church and other meetings.  It has been a fun challenge of life without water but as always there is growth and victory.

Here's my insight challenge:

Our faucet was wrapped and insulated, electric water hose with heat strip, heater in the underneath storage compartment (we call basement) - everything set up for cold.  However, life throws curve balls.  Who knew that inside this faucet and piping were rusted, corroded areas that at the most inopportune time would release chunks of rust into the flowing stream of water.  As a protective and health mechanism we have a screen to filter before it enters the hose as well as two different filters on our RV for it to go through before we consume.  Sometimes protective measures that are not kept in check can collect the debris as intended but if not cleaned routinely  the screen fills up with the junk which diminishes pressure and water flow.  The restrictred flow builds up pressure at the filter screen which then applies excess back pressure bringing attention to the weakest part of the system which then does what any solid mass will do, explodes or splits or as some would say 'rips a new one'.  At this point what was to keep fluid flowing through the hose is being released everywhere but where its suppose to be going, thus causing shut down and blockage or in this case ice in the hose supply and a beautiful (if you're observing from a heated area) ice sculpture.  However this ice sculpture is not usable as a centerpiece (unless it's a plumbers convention at an ice rink).  It becomes yet another hinderance in being able to make needed repairs bringing more work, delay and time spent in obviously freezing cold temperatures.

This so resembles our life.  We have hurts and baggage from the past that has been buried and not dealt with.  We have protective mechanisms that we put up to protect ourselves.  However these protective mechanisms often times keeps God and the ability to heal out too.  Then at the most inopportune time, something breaks loose and totally causes us to pressurize and explode or "rip a new one".  This then brings even more damage requiring repair/healing.  The apparent outside damage can often distort and put the focus of need in the wrong areas neglecting the original root cause.  This in turn can bring delay that is misconstrued as inability to heal as you are going after the side effects and not the root.  Often times people get discouraged chasing the outside damage and give up before getting to the root cause and healing needed and give up, quit.  Falling into the lie that they are beyond help, they can't be healed, losing hope.  This is a lie of the enemy and not truth.

God has blessed me with loving me through past abuse and healing which has the victory in using the knowledge and experience gained to be able to walk through the valleys with others.  He has create me with a passion and love for others and has given me the desire to look beyond the outer appearance and go for the root cause to allow Him to work in and through me and our family to help others find their victory and freedom in Him.  To be a life line of hope.

I am so thankful for the insight, downloads, visions, knowledge, experience, tools and training He has given me, my family.  He never ceases to amaze me in what depths of darkness He can break through with using the Holy Spirit's guidance of His scripture promises, prayer and essential oils.  When He brings someone into my life to love and minister to in scripture, prayer and oils ... I never know what it's going to look like but I do know that when I say "Yes" to Him and follow His leading, victory is always there.  He is very creative.  In ministering to leadership He takes and heals the wounded but He also takes the healthy and makes them even stronger.  Not only does he bless and heal the hurting, I also receive His blessing in my obedience to His calling.

The end of 2015 and beginning of 2016 brought such a deep urgency and intensity to no longer be complacent and wait for others to come and ask.  2016 is a year to go forth boldly and help free others from past bondage so they can have more time of LIVING and more ability to GIVE to others.

What areas of your past is He asking you to lay down and break free from?  Our family is here to help you or connect you with others who can help you.  Stand on His promise to you that He has victory in every situation.  2016 is the time to stop being a VICTOM and start being the VICTOR.

Don't delay, plant your feet and go after your VICTORY.  If God lays it on your heart for us to help, then make the effort and reach out to us.  We are honored and blessed to help.

Here's to LIFE VICTORY in 2016!

How's your lamp shining?

John 1:6-8 HNV "There came a man, sent from God, whose name was Yochanan [John}. The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him.  He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light."

We are sent from God as a witness that we might testify about the light, that all might believe through us.  Wow!  What an impact that scripture has made on me.  I, like Yochanan [John] am a lamp that shines the Light [Christ].  So … I have to stop and ask, how am I doing?  How well is my lamp reflecting the light of Christ?  Are others believing because of how I am living my life? my choices? my actions? my love for self? my love for others? my ability to forgive myself? to forgive others?

What type of lamp light was I created to be?  What type of lamp light am I actually being?

Here are just a few that have come to mind:

A light controlled by a switch - either fully on or fully off.

A dimmer light - Either fully off or when on, on at varying degrees of brightness from barely there to full on bright or somewhere in between.

A hazard flashing light - Only used when there is a problem.

A blinker - on one moment and off the next.  Only used when making a deviation from the path and even then not always being turned on when deviating and making a direction change.

A headlight - If old style - only on when turned on at night (in today's times that's if one remembers to turn it on or someone warns and flashes that we are proceeding without light).  If modern style then we are on all of the time but still primary use is during the night or stormy times to light the way  immediately in front of us on our journey.  We can be low density (which many drive using all the time instead of using the high density bright lights and having to remember to "dim" our headlights when others are approaching.) or high density bright beam lights.

Christmas lights - All pretty and colorful, either solid or twinkling with part of us on at all times for the season; however once the season is over we are packed away for all the other seasons until our one season comes around again.

A lighthouse - Shining 24/7 for others to help navigate, giving direction and keeping their paths focused on God, aware of and avoiding snares/traps/dangers.   There for all to use and giving 100% even though you may never know those that were directed by the light that shined through you.

A search light - Radiant light that pierces the sky to be seen for miles and miles to draw others to come and find out what is the big deal.  We aren't the big deal but our lives reflecting His goodness and greatness through us draw others near so that they can come and meet Him for themselves receiving His salvation,  focusing on Him, believing Him, knowing Him, loving Him, walking with Him, partaking in His fullness.  He is the BIG DEAL.

I also must ask myself, am I tending my lamp properly and to my best ability?  Am I keeping it in good operational shape - trimming the wick, keeping the oil full, prepared to be lit as He beacons?  Or am I busy running after other things or world busyness that I am too tired or distracted to make sure I am fulfilling the reason I was sent. Am I living such that anyone would see Christ in and through me and choose to believe in Him?  Am I drawing others to Christ or am I part of the attack of the busyness to distract and keep them away from Him?  No matter what, when you stop and look at it, you are either living so others can believe because of you OR you are living so that others are in unbelief and lost.  You're either for or against, there's no fence riding.  What an amazing love and confidence Christ has in us to give us such an impact on all His precious children young and old.

Honestly, my life in and love for Christ has grown so much during my years; however I can see myself in each of the different types of lights.  I have had to stop, repent and ask His forgiveness for not living up to my best at the different stages of my life.  In this new awareness I strive to live more fully reflecting Him through me so others are not delayed in their belief because of me and my action or lack of action.  I am exhilarated with the simple understanding that I am here to be a lamp testifying of His light so others may come to Him and know Him.  As easy and simplistic as that is, I find myself knowing that every time i achieve my best He will then give me more wisdom and knowledge that will always keep me reaching and obtaining new levels of best in Him.  He will always keep leading me on in great anticipation of new levels of awe all my days as His lamp on this Earth.   I must keep Christ perspective that obtaining our best is a great thing and opens us up to continual new levels of best.  And if I stumble, then I must get up, repent, learn and keep moving forward and upward.   I must make a point to not adopt the world's perspective that we're never good enough no matter how hard we try, that our best just means failure as more is always expected.  For me, it is an awesome promise that He always has more for me so that in my pursuit of knowing Him I will never tire nor reach an end.  I am only limited by what I myself limit myself.  Hmm, to totally understand that fully - that I am the only thing holding me back.    With Him the possibilities and expansion is unlimited!  Thank you God!!
