RESPECT ... what's your's looking like? (Be Healthy His Way Vision Study insight)

(This is a continuation of journal insights of a Be Healthy His Way Vision Study that we are currently hosting.  We are diffusing Young Living Envision or Frankincense essential oil during our study time.)

Scripture Insights:  Jeremiah 29:11-13

God has always shared insights and deepened my understandings through my experiences as a mom and He is still going creatively strong in this area over 20 years later.  This verse is another great example of such revelation.

‘“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,’

As a mom to two amazing young men with the Lord’s guidance and help I am constantly encouraging (not nagging, at least not from my loving perspective – LOL) my sons to know what their calling is, to embrace it and to be focused on living fully in it every day.  Some days, I am so overwhelmed with desire for them to not settle for less than His best for them and to not waste or allow time, energy and resources to be stolen away by useless things and people with less than their best at heart.
This time of study and seeking Him in this verse brings accountability to myself.  In the last 7 years I have become more filled with understanding and purposefully aware of the desires of my heart that He created in me; purposefully seeking and going after knowing and walking in His leading.  However, I sit here right now and ponder that His plans for me are far greater than I have opened myself to completely understand even despite scripture, prophecy and Words that He has given others to share with me.  Let’s not even go there on the things He has spoken to me directly in His own solid but still and peaceful way which is louder than any verbal conversation I’ve ever had any day.  I can only imagine from the intensity of my desire for my sons I love so much, what God is feeling in His desire for me to get and know the plans He has for me and embrace it.

Shall we even address the “declares the Lord” portion here?  I am getting a grin on my face and a giggle in my heart at the times I am so adamant about wanting the best for my sons (and husband) that I naturally take a power pose, corresponding voice and plant my feet in a solid stance to show them how serious I am.  If I, as an Earthly mom, feel and respond this way, I can only imagine (knowing that we are created in His image) that He himself is in Heaven standing and feeling as adamantly himself with His power pose (oh my what a power pose that must be as I know how confident and powerful I feel when I choose to stand in mine – I’m looking forward to seeing it someday in His timing) feet firmly planted in love and determination for ME.  Can you visualize the ministering angels being ho-hum, complacent, lackadaisical and not jumping into action?  Nope, me either.  I envision a heightened alertness that is saying “Yes Sir” and powerful purposed action and alertness waiting, listening and ready to be of service to immediately act as we empower them to assist us in making this come to be for ourselves with the authority He has given us.

My heart has a bit of a catch in it as I relate to my sons and the times that they immediately respond to me versus the times they listen and don’t do in a timely fashion (if at all) or only half-heartedly listen and respond somewhat eventually or even worse, don’t listen at all.  Talk about major face plant here.  I honestly do not like the “RESPECT” response I am seeing in my own life in how I have opened myself up (or not) to take time and listen to what the Lord is saying and showing me.  How have I allowed myself to become so desensitized or busy that I do not with bated breath hang on every word and thought the Lord says and gives me?  How am I not waiting in anticipation and instantly doing what He says or leads me to do, knowing that when I take the first step in doing my part … He is only then able to do the wonders that He does bringing a 100% success rate and victory in my life and His will.  How have I allowed what others want, think or expect to invoke more of a response than what God wants, thinks and expects?

I’m taking a break here to go AFT and allow the Holy Spirit to lead me through exposing, rebuking, repenting and realigning myself with His truths instead of the distorted truths I have allowed to be stored in my amygdala that trigger my fight or flight, safe or unsafe processing in my choices.  I want to be free from my perceptions that have held me captive, impacted, and limited my actions, abilities and response to my deepest heart love and passion.   I cannot accurately express the intense feelings of my Being at this moment.

PONDER POINT:

How's your RESPECT to and for your Creator?

    -  Are you being RESPECTFUL and doing what He says and asks even if you don't understand?

    -  Are you taking a consultation role telling God what you think is best?

    -  Debating with Him?

    -  Forming a committee (with people who will see it your way) to make a final decision and plan of action?

    -  Or .... ?

(For those wanting to schedule an AFT session with one of our Certified AFT Practitioners, please contact us via MFB247@gmail.com or MFB247.com.  AFT is a gentle but effective way to permanently remove blocks that have been negatively preventing you from freely growing and expanding as you were purposefully created,)

DOING - Preparation for the known and unknown

Father God, Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh,
I give thanks and praise to you for all you are doing in and through me.  My heart is filled with peace, joy and anticipation for what you have for me today.  With the authority, you have given to me, I speak to my eyes to be open to see, my ears that they may hear, my heart that it may receive and my mind to understand the insight you have for me today.  Thank you for your loving faithfulness.  In Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh’s name, I pray.  Amen.

Today, I’m led to Luke 23:56:

56 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.  (NKJV)

Just before this verse, Jesus had just been crucified on the cross.  The darkness had covered all the earth from about the sixth hour until the ninth hour.  Then the sun was darkened and the vein of the temple was torn in two.  Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit’”.  He then drew His last breath.  This was so powerful that the centurion who saw what had happened, he glorified God by saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man”.  The whole crowd who had come to watch, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned.  All His acquaintances and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance watching.
Can you feel the power and the impact?  How many times have we watched something happen not fully understanding but feel the power and effect as we depart?  Have you ever been an observer of something dramatic happening to someone you knew – closely or remotely, had a relationship with, loved?

Joseph, a council member, described as a good and just man, from Arimathea (a city of the Jews) who was waiting for the kingdom of God.  He was not in agreement with the decision and deed that had just been done.  He responded by going to Pilate and asking for the body of Jesus.  He took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was carved out of the rock.  He placed Jesus’ body in a tomb that no one had used before.  He did this promptly as his time for Doing was ending with the Sabbath approaching.

The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed His body.  They observed the tomb.  They observed how Jesus’ body was laid.  Then they returned home to prepare spices and fragrant oils to bring back to the tomb on the first day of the week after Sabbath.  They had to respond promptly to be able to return home and DO the work as well as prepare the normal daily needs for the Sabbath before it arrived.

Joseph and these women DID these things after watching such a dramatic deed.  Even if they did not know Jesus personally, it impacted their lives and drove them to action.  They chose not to be a part of the crowd that watched, beat their chest and then returned to where they came from.  Joseph from Arimathea and these women from Galilee chose to DO something.  They chose to come along side and give honor to this man that did miracles they did not understand.  They gave of their time, finances, possible social stigma and energy to remove him from the shame of death and hanging on the cross.  Their actions show they didn’t do it half-heartedly or begrudgingly.  Joseph got a tomb that had never been used before for this man, who in his eyes had been done wrong.  The women didn’t rush home to prepare the burial basics and Sabbath needs knowing all work stopped at sundown.  No, they took the time to go see the tomb and how Jesus’ body was laid out so they could plan and prepare properly.  How they could give their best.  They did not fully comprehend what part their actions were playing in the overall situation; however, they still acted.

How many times in our lives are we used in preparing someone for what is to come?  Do we fully understand or comprehend what we are doing?  How we are being used?  How many times in hindsight, do we regret not having taken the time to do it properly, better?  To have assessed, planned and prepared postured with a more obedient, willing attitude?  Or is your hindsight filled with thanksgiving and joy that you put aside your fleshly desires and gave your best even with not knowing what part your actions would have?

Everything we do has an impact in some way.  It always impacts our own lives as well as others, even those you don’t see or know.  We reap what we sow.  If we are not sowing anything then we have nothing to reap.  If we have nothing to reap then we have nothing to give to help others.  If we have nothing to reap or give then we have anything to sow for ourselves for us to have a continual harvest of reaping and sowing.  If you plant no seeds, then you get nothing back from your time of walking the fields to be able to plant in the future for self or give to help others.  You then shrivel up and cease to exist out of lack.  Lack that is brought on by your own choices and actions.  That also applies to those of us that sow seeds but never go out and harvest them.  A farmer doesn’t sow seeds and walk away.  He watches over, cares for and then reaps the harvest when it is time.  Do you know what you are sowing?  Are you reaping what you sow?

In Joseph from Arimathea and the women from Galilee that followed Jesus’ preparation, they themselves were blessed and ministered too.  They walked with purpose and fulfillment for DOING.  The women were physically and emotionally blessed by the essence of the spices and fragrant oils they were preparing for the burial.  Joseph gained stature and posture from providing a resting place for this man called Jesus whom he believed had been wronged.  In their obedience, they were blessed and lifted to a higher level, emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally.  As they were doing and preparing, God was feeding them through their DOING using the things He had designed for us to use as tools.  I know every time I get to minister to those He brings to me with praying and anointing with oils, I always get blessed and strengthened, even though my purpose and action is not for self but for the leader He has brought to me to be His hands on.  I am constantly humbled by how He uses the essential oils to take the individuals into their own special place that is filled with the essence that they need to feed their spirit within and themselves to be able to step out and up into a new level of life with Him.  The freedom it brings.  The weights lifted off.  The hope.  The Joy.  This from DOING for others, as Holy Spirit leads, using the tools that He has given for His ministry.

So … what are you purposefully DOING in preparation?

Are you DOING it with an attitude of praise and thanksgiving?

Are you DOING your best and letting God do the rest?

For those that would like to experience essential oils and especially those that want more with the Holy Spirit leading the experience, myself and/or one of our Be Healthy His Way team would be honored to come along side and support you on your journey.   You can achieve physical, spiritual, mental and emotional release whether you are a Believer or not … however the synergy effects of salvation, scripture and prayer bring a level of freedom living of its own accord high above all else.

It is our desire for you to KNOW God, to share His Word with you but also to share our lives with you in love.  We love you where you are and are honored to support you on your journey to get to where you want to be.

Thank you for the investment of your time.
May you hear and receive what is yours to hear from the sharing of a portion of my insights.
Be blessed in the Name of the Lord, Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh.

Temptation ... wait what!?!?

James 1:13-14

I've heard people ask, "Why is God tempting me?" or "Why is God allowing me to be tempted?"

Well, here's the truth.  God cannot be tempted by evil nor does He tempt anyone.  God doesn't tempt us or even put us in a position to be tempted.  That, my friend, we do all on our own, in our own doing.  So if you are being tempted ... what doors are you opening?  What are you watching?  What are you listening too?  What are you reading?  Who are you hanging with?  Who are you letting influence you?

If you're not happy where you are ... the sweet blessing is that YOU are in control of where you are, what your focus is on, what direction you are heading.  God gave us freedom of will and is eagerly waiting for us to turn or step towards Him.  At any point, no matter how dark of a place or deep in temptation you have allowed yourself to go, He has given us the option to turn back to Him.  Take the step of faith ... He provides what you need to succeed in fulfilling your created purpose.  It's a new year, a new season ... a great time to step to a new level or at least redirect your path ... it starts with a step of faith.  Blessings on your 2017 Faith Walking Program ... until FitBit or that type of device can track your steps, get a journal and start tracking your Faith Steps.  You'll be thrilled with the results.

Success to faith stepping out and stepping up in 2017!
