DOING - Preparation for the known and unknown

Father God, Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh,
I give thanks and praise to you for all you are doing in and through me.  My heart is filled with peace, joy and anticipation for what you have for me today.  With the authority, you have given to me, I speak to my eyes to be open to see, my ears that they may hear, my heart that it may receive and my mind to understand the insight you have for me today.  Thank you for your loving faithfulness.  In Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh’s name, I pray.  Amen.

Today, I’m led to Luke 23:56:

56 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.  (NKJV)

Just before this verse, Jesus had just been crucified on the cross.  The darkness had covered all the earth from about the sixth hour until the ninth hour.  Then the sun was darkened and the vein of the temple was torn in two.  Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit’”.  He then drew His last breath.  This was so powerful that the centurion who saw what had happened, he glorified God by saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man”.  The whole crowd who had come to watch, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned.  All His acquaintances and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance watching.
Can you feel the power and the impact?  How many times have we watched something happen not fully understanding but feel the power and effect as we depart?  Have you ever been an observer of something dramatic happening to someone you knew – closely or remotely, had a relationship with, loved?

Joseph, a council member, described as a good and just man, from Arimathea (a city of the Jews) who was waiting for the kingdom of God.  He was not in agreement with the decision and deed that had just been done.  He responded by going to Pilate and asking for the body of Jesus.  He took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was carved out of the rock.  He placed Jesus’ body in a tomb that no one had used before.  He did this promptly as his time for Doing was ending with the Sabbath approaching.

The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed His body.  They observed the tomb.  They observed how Jesus’ body was laid.  Then they returned home to prepare spices and fragrant oils to bring back to the tomb on the first day of the week after Sabbath.  They had to respond promptly to be able to return home and DO the work as well as prepare the normal daily needs for the Sabbath before it arrived.

Joseph and these women DID these things after watching such a dramatic deed.  Even if they did not know Jesus personally, it impacted their lives and drove them to action.  They chose not to be a part of the crowd that watched, beat their chest and then returned to where they came from.  Joseph from Arimathea and these women from Galilee chose to DO something.  They chose to come along side and give honor to this man that did miracles they did not understand.  They gave of their time, finances, possible social stigma and energy to remove him from the shame of death and hanging on the cross.  Their actions show they didn’t do it half-heartedly or begrudgingly.  Joseph got a tomb that had never been used before for this man, who in his eyes had been done wrong.  The women didn’t rush home to prepare the burial basics and Sabbath needs knowing all work stopped at sundown.  No, they took the time to go see the tomb and how Jesus’ body was laid out so they could plan and prepare properly.  How they could give their best.  They did not fully comprehend what part their actions were playing in the overall situation; however, they still acted.

How many times in our lives are we used in preparing someone for what is to come?  Do we fully understand or comprehend what we are doing?  How we are being used?  How many times in hindsight, do we regret not having taken the time to do it properly, better?  To have assessed, planned and prepared postured with a more obedient, willing attitude?  Or is your hindsight filled with thanksgiving and joy that you put aside your fleshly desires and gave your best even with not knowing what part your actions would have?

Everything we do has an impact in some way.  It always impacts our own lives as well as others, even those you don’t see or know.  We reap what we sow.  If we are not sowing anything then we have nothing to reap.  If we have nothing to reap then we have nothing to give to help others.  If we have nothing to reap or give then we have anything to sow for ourselves for us to have a continual harvest of reaping and sowing.  If you plant no seeds, then you get nothing back from your time of walking the fields to be able to plant in the future for self or give to help others.  You then shrivel up and cease to exist out of lack.  Lack that is brought on by your own choices and actions.  That also applies to those of us that sow seeds but never go out and harvest them.  A farmer doesn’t sow seeds and walk away.  He watches over, cares for and then reaps the harvest when it is time.  Do you know what you are sowing?  Are you reaping what you sow?

In Joseph from Arimathea and the women from Galilee that followed Jesus’ preparation, they themselves were blessed and ministered too.  They walked with purpose and fulfillment for DOING.  The women were physically and emotionally blessed by the essence of the spices and fragrant oils they were preparing for the burial.  Joseph gained stature and posture from providing a resting place for this man called Jesus whom he believed had been wronged.  In their obedience, they were blessed and lifted to a higher level, emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally.  As they were doing and preparing, God was feeding them through their DOING using the things He had designed for us to use as tools.  I know every time I get to minister to those He brings to me with praying and anointing with oils, I always get blessed and strengthened, even though my purpose and action is not for self but for the leader He has brought to me to be His hands on.  I am constantly humbled by how He uses the essential oils to take the individuals into their own special place that is filled with the essence that they need to feed their spirit within and themselves to be able to step out and up into a new level of life with Him.  The freedom it brings.  The weights lifted off.  The hope.  The Joy.  This from DOING for others, as Holy Spirit leads, using the tools that He has given for His ministry.

So … what are you purposefully DOING in preparation?

Are you DOING it with an attitude of praise and thanksgiving?

Are you DOING your best and letting God do the rest?

For those that would like to experience essential oils and especially those that want more with the Holy Spirit leading the experience, myself and/or one of our Be Healthy His Way team would be honored to come along side and support you on your journey.   You can achieve physical, spiritual, mental and emotional release whether you are a Believer or not … however the synergy effects of salvation, scripture and prayer bring a level of freedom living of its own accord high above all else.

It is our desire for you to KNOW God, to share His Word with you but also to share our lives with you in love.  We love you where you are and are honored to support you on your journey to get to where you want to be.

Thank you for the investment of your time.
May you hear and receive what is yours to hear from the sharing of a portion of my insights.
Be blessed in the Name of the Lord, Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh.

Doing or Judging ... Which do you choose?

Father God, Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh,

I give thanks and praise to you for all you are doing in and through me.  My heart is filled with peace, joy, and anticipation for what you have for today.  With the authority, you have given to me, I speak to my eyes to be open to see, my ears that they may hear, my heart that it may receive and my mind to understand the insight you have for me today.  Thank you for your loving, faithfulness.  In Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh's name, I pray, Amen.

Today, I'm lead to Matthew 26:6-13:

The Anointing at Bethany

“6 And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.”
10 But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. 11 For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. 12 For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. 13 Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her. (NKJV)
Wow, just as in life, there is so much going on in this passage.  We could look at the stigma of Simon "the leper".  We could focus on the value of the "very costly fragrant oil".  We could focus on the awareness and understanding of the disciples who have been under the teaching and life experience with Jesus.  We could ... there's so many facets of this text ... today, I'm drawn to the woman and oil.

Fact, we know it is a very costly or expensive oil.  Scholars have researched and have established a general value for it; however, for today, we are going to accept the understanding of The Word that it was very expensive and valuable.  (For those that desire to know the value ... have fun and dig into The Word to quench your desire ... you will always come away blessed.)  This oil was precious to this woman, most likely (from my limited studies) it was a gift to her that had been handed down through the generations.  This raises the value abouve the world's value system as it has heritage and eotional value to it as well as the financial value.

She broke the oil and poured it over Christ's head as He sat at the head of the table.  Wow ... there's even more to ponder.  There is so much symbolism in pouring it over His head.  There is symbolism in that He was setting at the head of the table.  However, for me today, I note and accept these things as showing the respect and honor that was being given to Christ while He was in Simon the leper's house.

So, here are the disciples who have experienced life under the teaching of Christ.  They KNOW Him on a very personal level.  They are at a gathering and are accepting the respect and honor being given to Christ with Him being placed at the head of the table in another man’s house.  However, when a woman comes bringing an alabaster box of oil which they are fully aware of the financial value and sacrifice on her part … their judgement and level of respect and honor of Christ is that He is not worthy of such a valuable sign of reverence.  This judgement from they who have laid down their previous lives to follow Christ.  How often do we do this?  Were they put out because of the financial waste? Were they responding in pride? Do we look at an act of another and make the judgement that we know what is going on in their life?  What they are being led by the Holy Spirit to do?  Do we stand in pride thinking that we know the full circumstances, conviction and reason for the action?  Is it our place to judge the action of another?  Do we want to stand in the likeness of the disciples here and receiving the rebuking of our Lord?

Honestly, no I don’t.  I desire and am striving to step up in my level of faith.  To know my LORD and Master such that I know what is pleasing to Him and do it.   As well as support and encourage others when they are walking in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit in their lives.  It’s not my place to judge them for their action.  We are given the authority to judge the spirit that it is done in however.  It is my place to judge the spirit behind the action and to pray for the situation and uphold the proclaimed victory that is Christ’s in all things.

Jesus said, “Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. 11 For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. 12 For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. 13 Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”
The oil was used to prepare Jesus’ flesh for what was to come.  His burial.  Our Salvation.  Our Freedom.  Our Life Eternal.  This resonates deep within me.  God has called me and blessed me with being a woman with a ministry that allows me to get to anoint others with oil.  It is such a humbling experience to get to be His ministering vessel to those He brings to prepare them for what is to come.  The spiritual and emotional side of the essential oils just ignites a passion in me that, for those that know me … can take me from a lethargic state to fully energized in an instant.  When Jesus was anointed with the oil … God was providing support and preparing the flesh for what was to come.  Just as we have feast celebrations to end the season we have just come out of and celebrate the newness of the season we are heading into.  The same is with our emotional and spiritual side of our lives.  God provided us His tools, one of which is essential oils - which is evidenced in Scripture from Genesis to Revelation - to help cleanse, break off past seasons in our lives, and prepare us for what is to come and be done in and through us in our new season.  I am always humbled and amazed at what the Holy Spirit does when another comes desiring to break from the past and rise to a new level in a new season.  It is always different, just what the Holy Spirit knows is needed.  Sometimes it comes with deliverance, sometimes with prophecy, always it comes with His love flowing and into the deepest depths of their soul.

So today, I thank God for drawing me to this scripture.  For this affirmation that it is my place to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and not to give heed to those that are scoffing out of their limited understanding.  There are those that take the position of the disciples who scoff and put down what the Lord is being asked to be done.  Every day as I dive into knowing Christ more, I am constantly receiving new insights and levels of knowledge and wisdom in the purpose and how to use the essential oils He has brought in to my life after I said YES to Him.  When others speak against God’s teaching in using the essential oils (we’re not even going there with discussing what happens when you blend scripture, essential oils and prayer together …. Oh my, my, my WOW!) to support our flesh, emotions, mind, and spirit … it is mine to stay focused on His leading only and not receive nor judge them that are not at the level of understanding.  Every day I stand in awe of new levels of enlightenment that He brings and am ever more aware of just how much I don’t know and am so excited to see what’s next.  I am so thankful for the heart and passion He created me with and that I no longer bury my head in lack of understanding instead digging deeper in to Him to receive more understanding.  I choose to be one of the one’s using oils to prepare self and others for what is to come rather than one judging, scoffing, rebuking from a perspective of limited understanding and disrespect.

For those that would like to experience essential oils and especially those that want more with the Holy Spirit leading the experience, myself and/or one of our Be Healthy His Way team would be honored to come along side and support you on your journey.   You can achieve emotional release whether you are a Believer or not … however the synergy effects of salvation, scripture and prayer bring a level of freedom living of its own accord high above all else.

It is our desire for you to KNOW God, to share His Word with you but also to share our lives with you in love.  We love you where you are and are honored to support you on your journey to get to where you want to be.

Thank you for the investment of your time.

Have you Oiled your rock?

Father God, I thank you for this time today and I come to you with love and adoration.  Please open my eyes to see, my ears to hear, my heart to receive and my mind to understand the insight that you have for me today.  Thank you.  In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.

Today I’m lead to a story about Jacob in Genesis 28:10-22.

Jacob was blessed and sent by Isaac to go take a wife.  He received the blessing and set out to fulfill the purpose given to him.  He took a step of faith and headed to the land of his mother as directed.  You probably heard this story as a child or maybe know it from a song; however, I will copy the verses for you to read a new for yourself to receive what added insight God has for you.
Jacob’s Vow at Bethel
10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. 11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. 12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
18 Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. 19 And he called the name of that place Bethel;[a] but the name of that city had been Luz previously. 20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, 21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. 22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

Wow, there is just so much here.  I could expound greatly but will try to be concise and keep it hopefully short.  God created us from a thought with His purpose a part of us before we even were.  It is built into us to seek and know what our purpose is, to receive our Creator’s blessing for in that we receive peace, joy and fulfillment.

Jacob was called by Isaac and he chose to go.  In going he received a blessing and a purpose.  He then went forth to fulfill that purpose.  It is the same with us.  God has called us.  We get to choose whether we go and seek Him, His will for us, His direction and His blessing.

Jacob journeyed forth and came to a certain place and rested there using what items or tools were there.  Jacob rested on his journey.  He did not push through until he had arrived at his final
destination, he rested when the sun set.  Hmmm, something to ponder.  How many of us actually rest in the evening after sunset?  Enjoy and partake of where we are placed to rest? Rest as in no longer doing chores, paperwork, etc.  Truly, purposeful, just relax and rest to receive from what has been accomplished (seen and unseen) and be renewed for what is to come.

During his time of obedience in resting, he used a rock God provided through creation for his head.  Now a rock doesn’t sound to restful to me.  However, in my spirit the thought of a rock stirs me as it is something that is solid and dependable.  In a time of constant motion, solid, grounded and dependable is definitely a good thing in my opinion.

During his rest on the rock he had a dream.  Stop and think … do you dream? Do you slow down enough that you truly relax to enter a restful state that releases control of your mind to allow dreaming and receiving insight from God?  Do you wake and allow yourself to acknowledge and receive insight from your dream?  Or do you jump up and rush into your day chasing after busyness that allows you to help fulfill someone else’s expectations and goals? Or keeps you in motion to portray activity to the non-discerning eye that suggests you’re doing something even if its running in circle?

Jacob was “on” his journey, not at his home base he departed from nor at his final arrival destination.  In this journey during this rest, Jacob became aware of a portal to Heaven where angels were descending and ascending from Heaven to Earth.  He received God’s word that his descendants would spread the earth and be blessed.  God gave his word he would keep them and bring them back to the land.  He further spoke that He would not leave until He had done what He had spoken.  Jacob was in respectful awe and acknowledged by taking the rock, placing it as a pillar and poured oil on top of it calling it Bethel (House of El or House of God).  He made a vow.  He proclaimed the rock as God’s house and declared he would give a tenth of all that God gives him.

Wow, that makes me stop and take inventory.  I have thanked God for the tools He has provided for me to fulfill my purpose? To allow me to rest? Am I giving a 10th of them to him?  I must honestly say, in stopping and assessing, we have anointed our pick up and bikes with oil that we have stewardship over; however, I do not recall specifically anointing the car with oil that we have recently been stewarding.  Which then leads to the rest of what we are stewarding.  What we have had previously has been well prayed over and anointed with oil; however, in the busyness I realize that we have not stopped (rested) and with intent, anointed with oil the new that we have received to steward in the past few months.  We are firm in our conviction and vow to tithe not just money but our time, home, insights … we share our lives with you out of love (Thessalonians 2:8).  Today, I ask God to reveal all the things and areas that I have not “oiled” or given a 10th of.  I repent and ask God’s forgiveness, my family’s forgiveness and forgiveness of self that I got so distracted by things that I have allowed unbalance to enter in and have not “oiled” the tools provided us for our personal, ministry and business use.  Motivated to give thanks, praise and get oiling!

Thank you for the investment of your time.
May you hear and receive what is yours to hear from the sharing of a portion of my insights.
Be blessed in the Name of the Lord.

Temptation ... wait what!?!?

James 1:13-14

I've heard people ask, "Why is God tempting me?" or "Why is God allowing me to be tempted?"

Well, here's the truth.  God cannot be tempted by evil nor does He tempt anyone.  God doesn't tempt us or even put us in a position to be tempted.  That, my friend, we do all on our own, in our own doing.  So if you are being tempted ... what doors are you opening?  What are you watching?  What are you listening too?  What are you reading?  Who are you hanging with?  Who are you letting influence you?

If you're not happy where you are ... the sweet blessing is that YOU are in control of where you are, what your focus is on, what direction you are heading.  God gave us freedom of will and is eagerly waiting for us to turn or step towards Him.  At any point, no matter how dark of a place or deep in temptation you have allowed yourself to go, He has given us the option to turn back to Him.  Take the step of faith ... He provides what you need to succeed in fulfilling your created purpose.  It's a new year, a new season ... a great time to step to a new level or at least redirect your path ... it starts with a step of faith.  Blessings on your 2017 Faith Walking Program ... until FitBit or that type of device can track your steps, get a journal and start tracking your Faith Steps.  You'll be thrilled with the results.

Success to faith stepping out and stepping up in 2017!

Psalm 134 Praising the Lord

Father God, Thank you for this time in your Word.  I pray for my eyes to see, my ears to hear, heart to be open to receive and the grace to do what you reveal to me today.  May you be glorified in and through my life.  In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen.

Psalm 134  New King James Version (NKJV)

Praising the Lord in His House at Night

A Song of Ascents.

134 Behold, bless the Lord,
All you servants of the Lord,
Who by night stand in the house of the Lord!
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary,
And bless the Lord.
The Lord who made heaven and earth
Bless you from Zion!

Wow, as I ask the Lord for my eyes, mind, ears and heart to be open to receive what He has for me today I am yet again overwhelmed what He has in what appears to be a short, simple psalm.  A Psalm or chapter that only has three verses recorded in The Word that is easily overlooked if you are just reading to read to check it off your list that its done.  Meditating on the Word is far more enlightening and fruitful then reading the Word.

“Behold” what a word.  It has a Ta Da fanfare to it or a drum roll type presentation. It stirs my spirit and puts it on alert.  The word is defined as “see or observe a thing or person, especially a remarkable or impressive one.  Synonyms are view, look at, watch, survey, witness, gaze at/upon, regard, contemplate, inspect.

The word “Behold” calls me to accountability.  Am I truly observing the Lord? Am I gazing upon Him and seeing all that He does for me? Or am I too busy with the menial things in life, allowing them to fill up my day as I focus on them and let them shape and mold my emotions and mood towards myself, my family, my friends, the people I encounter while out and about.  I do know that when I’m “Beholding the Lord” and gazing upon Him, knowing Him, praising Him that the focus and effects of others on the earth do not impact my life as deeply nor have the roller coaster effect on my emotions.  I also know that I have my best results in getting the important things accomplished during my day and the lesser things either go away or often resolve themselves with little effort on my part.  Why then do I choose to put the “busyness” of the world before and above my “Behold” time of the LORD?  Talk about a face palm insight moment.

I’ve read the Psalm through several times before I even started to journal my insights.  There is so much here however today I am lead to meditate on the “Behold”.

Behold, observe, as you bless the Lord.  Behold and observe day and night … good challenges and bad challenges.  Observe the Lord in all situations that you allow yourself into with your choices and things put in to motion with your spoken authority.  God loves us so much that He allows us to make our own choices.  He loves us so much that He allows us to choose whether to give Him honor or not … and He delights in the praise and honor we give Him.  He who can speak anything into being, who does not need us to do anything for Him, truly delights in our adoration and praise of Him.  Try to comprehend that!  Being a parent is such an eye opener to the heart of God.  As parents, we love our children from the moment they are being created inside of us.  It is such a pleasure to watch a loving couple who are expecting their first child.   How the husband/dad hovers over, anticipates the needs and is delighted to get to do whatever for the wife/mom to meet her needs and desires.  How like our Heavenly Father who watches over us, guides us (even when we are in the “2-year-old Do It Myself phase”; whether we are willing to receive or not and loves us whether we decide to listen and do or not!), anticipates our needs and provides even the smallest thing for us when we allow and are willing to receive.

We GET to bless God as we stand watch by night, in the darkest hours, the darkest challenges.  It is a choice.  We can always find Him in every situation.  God did not create sin.  Adam and Eve’s love gift of free will, chose to listen to the deception of Satan and allow his words and implications to outweigh God’s words.  God who has always spoken truth to and over them, providing their everything.  Even then God’s love for us was so great that He had to honor His word and cast them out of the Garden of Eden for their disobedience.  BUT GOD cast them into a void that He created and gave them everything they needed to have life, to succeed, to fulfill their purpose of life.  He still hovered, watching, anticipating, giving what they would accept when they were willing to receive out of an unconditional love.

God shows His unconditional love for us repeatedly throughout The Word.  Even when the Earth became so corrupt that only one man and his family believed, sought God, heard Him and worshiped Him, He saved that one man (Noah) by giving Him promptings and insight to build a boat to prepare for what had never existed before on this Earth.  Are we courageous as Noah? Are we willing to act and stand against the ridicule of doing something beyond the norm? Even before that … are we truly seeking and spending time with God?  Do we even stand still long enough to converse and be open to receive from God an idea to build/create/do something that has never been done before?

Oh, the proof of accountability and submission!  Because Noah sought after knowing God and knowing His heart thus knowing and being aligned with His will and willing to receive direction no matter how unknown the concept.  Because Noah covered his family, raised them according to the knowledge of God’s ways that were imparted to him through prayer and meditation with God as the Bible didn’t exist yet.  Because Noah sought after and “BEHOLDED” God, his family was saved when all the rest of the people of the earth that had become so corrupted that there was no goodness and were destroyed in the first rainfall and flood on earth.  You think that you are just one person and can’t make much of an impact?  Rebuke that lie right now because Noah is just one proof of what one man can do because of God’s love for us and willingness to give us the delights of our hearts in the blessing of obedience.  You do matter and impact the lives of those around you. How you walk out challenges brought on by your own choices and sometimes brought on by the choices of others … is a witness to others of our great, loving, Heavenly Father who guarantees us victory in ALL challenges.

It is written in John 10:10 that satan, our enemy, comes to kill, steal and destroy.  It is also written that Jesus came to give us life and to not only give us life but to give us life ABUNDANTLY!  If it has to do with killing, stealing, destroying then give credit to the correct initiator – satan, and give PRAISE to Jesus who gives us victory in ALL things and will give us the strength to stand and endure to receive the morning joy (Psalm 30:5) and the restoration of what has been taken/stolen from us.  (Deuteronomy 30:3-13).  He gives us a life of abundance! Are we receiving it and walking in it?

I can honestly say, from walking through some dark challenges beyond the normal, that God really is there guiding and giving strength to endure, to receive the blessing of His morning joy.  It is possible to see and hold on to Him during the darkness, praising Him when satan is doing everything he can to have all flesh and world things keep you from praising your Creator and Unconditional Lover of your soul.

Wow!  Thanks for such sweet reminders Lord.  With the weights of worldly demands and expectations dragging me down at times, I so needed this accountability check as to where my focus is and where my spoken praise is.  It’s a mindset or perspective choice with every thought and circumstance.

My affirmation today:  I choose to seek Him.  I choose to follow His leading.  I choose to give praise to the Lord.  I choose to focus on His good report only.  I choose to rebuke and step on the head of satan who can only bruise my heel instead of running screaming in fear.  (Genesis 3:15)  I feel God’s leading.  I feel like praising the Lord. I feel like focusing on His good report. I feel like rebuking satan in my life.  I AM choosing Him.  I AM following His leading.  I AM giving praise to my Lord.  I AM focusing on His good report.  I AM rebuking the devourer.

To you, Father God, I give the praise and glory of all good things in my life and my ability to overcome and praise in and through all things.  Thank you. Thank You.  Thank you.

Psalm 133 – Living Together in Peace

Psalm 133

This chapter only has 3 verses … but oh the things that are covered and imparted in these verses.  People have a saying about big things or explosive things coming in little packages.  I’m thinking this originated from God as its constantly shown in the Bible.  To not get off track I’ll leave this as something for us to ponder ...

Psalm 133 in my Bible has been given the title “Living Together In Peace”.

Verse 1 in NKJV “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

We are all a part of the whole body.  Such peace comes from living in unity.  It is our responsibility to tend to our lives, actions, intent, etc.  We can only pray for others as lead by the Holy Spirit.  We can only bring change in our own lives.  Thus, understanding that, it is our responsibility to make sure that we are operating from a heart of love.  That we are listening and hearing what God is leading us to do.  That we have thoughts aligned with Christ coming forth through our spoken authority.  When we do our part, God will be able to fulfill the blessings of His part.  He always does what He says.  It is our choices, actions and spoken authority that keeps Him waiting to do what He has already said He will do for us.  When we are listening to hear and doing as He leads, our part of unity is in place and we are in a place of peace that effects the atmosphere and people around us.

Verse 2 in NKJV “It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.”

On April 28, 2009 - the eve of our 14th anniversary of God uniting our family into being and the day of my mom, my spiritual mentor, my friend and beyond’s 74th birthday - God officially released the oil portion of our My Father’s Blessing Ministries.  Talk about God igniting the passion of my heart and fanning the flames beyond anything on this earth.  I have been and am blessed with the sweetest times with God; the mind-expanding insights and downloads; the health building & healing in my heart (emotions), mind, body, and spirit; as well as observing what He does in other’s lives through the willingness of my heart and my hands and His scriptures and oils.  I could go on and on about the insight and meanings I’ve learned from searching His Word.  However, now is the time to focus on Psalm 133.  I encourage you to dive in and study or at least get your toes wet by looking at the accounts of anointing in the Bible.  It is more than just the putting a spot on the forehead or crown of the head as is often done in today’s times.  The oil anointing is symbolic of the spiritual anointing covering you.  It starts at your head and flows in abundance over your whole entire being all the way down to the edge of your garments - tips of your toes, ground that you walk on.  Not only is this symbolic but it is God’s way of fortifying and feeding every part of your being - your emotions, mental, physical and spiritual portion of your life.  He gives us all the tools we need to be able to fulfill His created purpose in our lives if we so choose to accept and walk out that purpose.  If we choose to be submissive and stand still to receive and allow His anointing to flow over and cover us, then we are walking in the covering of His anointing which is walking in unity and peace.

Verse 3 in NKJV “It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing – Life forevermore.

Hermon is the loftiest peak in all the land of Palestine, and from its snowy cap, when all the surrounding country is parched, the refreshing dew descends upon the mountains of Zion.  This was driven home to me even more yesterday, January 1, 2017, the beginning of this New Year and New Season.  This time of being in the mountains is giving such insight through the most unique ways.   I’m thoroughly enjoying it.  I have anticipation as I look for His signs and thoughts that He has positioned around me.  Driving home from church yesterday the clouds had descended in such a delicate and beautiful dance.  The fog that is often present on our morning journeys stirs my spirit and brings such joy and delight from a special place deep within me.  It is like the Holy Spirit coming into your valley, wrapping you totally in His care and blocking all view/focus except for the necessity of your immediate surrounding.  His way of saying, I’ve got this, I’ve got you, rest, focus on me, abide in me.  My thoughts began to ponder the difference of the fog that generally is settled in the valleys and the clouds that were descending from above, lingering and flowing through different areas and covering all that was with a sweet dampness that was welcoming not uncomfortable.  With the clouds, the valleys were visually clear to see while still receiving the refreshing nourishment of the sweet dampness.  This was a special covering that we are continually under in some aspect of the atmosphere; however yesterday, He allowed the clouds to descend to bring the blessing of their sweet dew and the insight of His covering that is always there for us especially in the mountain highs and good times.  To bring me insight.  We don’t always see the “dew” coming down to cover us; however, it is there.  Sometimes it cloaks us in our times of trial and need in the form a “fog”.  Always, it is there high above covering and sourcing us to keep us from being parched.

It is our choice to:

Receive and joyfully be covered by the anointing oil and dew which supplies a peace and unity deep within through all challenges - Life forevermore.

OR

Reject, cover up in hiding and not receive nor allow the anointing oil and dew to touch us and supply to prevent becoming parched.

Each moment of our day is new and ours to choose.  So … what are you choosing for your life, today, this moment?  I am whole heartedly, with all abandon, choosing the anointing oil and dew and looking for it with anticipation as it is manifested in my life.

May you hear and receive what is yours to hear from the sharing of a portion of my insights.
Be blessed in the Name of the Lord.
